The mission of the Auglaize County Humane Society is to provide a safe and sheltering environment for the homeless animals of today, encourage kindness and responsibility toward the pets of tomorrow, and foster through the education of our children a compassion for all living creatures, both man and animal.

Sophie
This is Sophie, a Peekapoo!
She was also adopted in February of 2010 by Jan, a lady who works at ACHS.
Sophie was found out in the woods, matted beyond all belief! She must have been surviving alone for well over a year. She is 6 years or older. She had a bad attitude and ruled the roost!
We thought that she would never get a home but thankfully Jan finally took her home!
