A Brief History of the ACHS:

1973:  Chartered by the State of Ohio as a 501c3 non-profit organization.

1974:  First shelter established on Hauss Road

1980:  Purchased original building on Keller Drive

1991:  Constructed addition for large dogs

1999:  Purchase of new building (adjacent to original Keller Drive building)
