Doc & Tela

It would seem that an inseparable pair of Great Danes would be difficult to adopt out of a shelter...  Not when there are people like Angi Gold in the world!

In December 2002, Angi happily adopted Doc & Tela to join her diverse family.  Her adoption of these two giants made 7 Great Danes and 7 other animals.  And as of January 15th, 2003, Angi has also taken on another Great Dane and a Mastiff!  What a woman!

Angi reports that both Doc & Tela are doing well.  Doc had some small problems after he was neutered, so Angi snuggled up on the floor and slept with him and Tela for a few days.  Doc likes to help out in the kitchen - Angi guesses that he'd be a great chef!  And Tela, who has an inherent mistrust of males, is beginning to warm up to Angi's husband Brian.

All of us at the ACHS would like to recognize Angi for going above and beyond (and beyond and beyond!) in her efforts to help animals!
